Good solid shoe , insides could be better but this has served me well for a nice walking shoe in both summer and winter. Does not slip easily in ice and has a decent grip. Easy to put on and off. Can be worn with or without socks for quick trips. I have worn mine out cause I wear it everywhere everyday and just bought myself a second pair to use for another year. Timberland still makes good comfortable shoes. Strong Buy.

I purchased the Men‘s Mt. Maddsen Slip–On Shoe in October 2022 about a month before a trip to Northern Ireland. I was looking for a comfortable hiking shoe. Having previously owned a pair of Timberland SmartWool slip–ons that were wonderful to wear, I gave the Mt. Maddsen slip–ons a try. They did not disappoint. The leather uppers softened and molded themselves to fit my foot so they have become my preferred shoe for working in the yard as well as hiking. They shed water well and the thick soles keep my foot out of puddles in the rain. After 2 years of hard use (I write this in 2024) the soles are worn, but no separation at all from the leather uppers. Very well made. (This is for the model A6660 made in Vietnam)
